About Matt Jones
With over two decades of experience as a real estate broker, I began my journey in the real estate industry as a solo agent in 2002, ultimately growing my practice into a multi-office brokerage with over 150 agents. I'm a prolific author, having written eleven books on real estate practice, and I've been a speaker at national conferences and written dozens of articles for real estate trade publications.

I've made media appearances on Radio America Network’s Equity Strategies as well as CNN’s Pulse on America program. (Yes, this photo was from over a decade ago, a time when I had fewer wrinkles and more questionable fashion choices. Now it's strictly shorts and flip-flops for me! )
Since 2020, I've dedicated my efforts to in-depth research of Pamlico County marina operations and real estate values, compiling a vast reservoir of data. I have served on the boards of three local marinas and established valuable relationships with local real estate, marina, and community leaders. My extensive network and wealth of knowledge are valuable assets I can leverage to benefit my clients.
Today I enjoy a slower pace and like to spend time on my boat, keeping the village bicycles working (I operate Village Bicycle Repair), and helping my clients buy, sell, and rent boat slips. Give me a call. I'd love to help you with your next boat slip!
